Gilbertbrowning Studios

is the culmination of its two founding photographers, Kirsty Gilbert & Jason Browning. Kirsty's passion for art originates from the influences of her childhood in a small village on the south coast of England. She travelled to the United States and received a scholorship to attend University of the Arts, in Philadelphia. Nurturing her artistic talent and formulating a style she graduated with honors. Jason started his career at a professional print house, where he obtained working knowledge of professional labs, digital work flow and color management. Having established a solid reputation as a digital technician he refocused his concentration from the print to the camera. Combining his technical and creative influences he formed his unique style.

Upon meeting and uniting as a photographic team, they traveled extensively throughout Europe, North and Central America. Capturing these images of culture and landscape, combined their photojournalistc styles. Their experiences together created a photographic team whose close realtionship gives them an upper hand in communication and problem solving. This offers the opportunity to have two creative minds tackle a project simultainiously. With integrity, striking creativity, and a strong work ethic their vision is sharp and concise. They have an astute attention for capturing the moment and an obsession for the discovery of the photographic image. Their technical control and professionalism aid them in creativly solving and capturing dynamic images. Their deep personal bond combined with differing schools of thought both formulates and enhances the style that is Gilbertbrowning Studios.

A genuine passion for the fractured moments of peoples lives, world culture and travel are this couple's driving force.
